Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

This is our 5th consecutive post on marriage, I hope you have been blessed by these posts on marriage, I would appreciate if you can share these to your loved ones.

Today I would like to share few thoughts on who is the strongest, and how do you know you are the strongest compared to your spouse.

It is very common to see both the husband and wife want to dominate in situations and sometimes overall.

First of all the husband thinks he is the head and the leader of the family, because he is providing for the family therefore the wife has to live in submission to him (not raise question and can’t raise voice, while the husband have all the right to raise voice, question and if possible will not hesitate to raise his hand)

On the other wife thinks she is the leader of the family, because the husband is out busy with his work. She thinks she is the one who makes the home, takes cares of everything in the house, takes care of the children and sometimes endure everything that’s happening in the house (especially with the in-laws).

Dear friend, I want to remind you that you need to love, respect, provide, protect, and honour your spouse and the family. How? Treat your spouse the way you want to be treated!

Marriage might not be a bed of roses always; but sometimes it can be full of challenges, troubles, sacrifices, compromises, and adjustment.

When situations change and challenges change they give into their temptations, and lose their patience and be led by their emotions or feelings because they are WEAK. For example: shout at each other, blame their spouse for every wrong happening in the family, for children not being undisciplined.

As a child of God, you should be the strongest in your marriage. What I mean is, you need to control your tongue, and you need to control your actions that will hurt your spouse and the family, and be in self-control. The weak people cannot control their words and actions.

As you are reading this post today, I pray that God will give you grace to love and respect your spouse and family always, and as a strong person you be a good steward of whatever God gave you in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

May God bless you.

With much love and prayers,

Pastor Jeevan and pastor Leena Jeevan.
