Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you have been safe, healthy, and also pray that all is well with you. If you need any help, please let us know we would be more than willing to pray and believe with you for a miracle.

One of the greatest gifts God has given to us is work, job, and responsibilities. Not everyone have job even though they have a degree, not everyone is entrusted with responsibilities though they work hard, and not everyone have a work even though they are physically and mentally stable. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL TO GOD!

Whatever work you have is a gift from God, my question to you is; have you been faithful to the One who gave you the work? And are you appreciating others for their work or looking down on them?

Many people think work is only working hard in a company where you get paid, but I say work could be as simple as a housewife working to build her home, and a student working hard to do well in studies, and serving in the vision of the church/ministry God has placed you in, and many more of such responsibilities.

Remember the work you have is a gift from God, and it is your identity, and it is also a God’s given purpose here on earth. And your faithfulness in the work God entrusted you with is your gift back to your Creator.

The Bible says, work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Ephesians 6:7. The word enthusiasm means to be eager, enjoy, and have fun!

It is possible for you to be blessed with the work and responsibilities, and yet be complaining about your work, the people around you work with, and the place you are in. And whenever you don’t give 100% of yourself into the work you are doing, you will feel exhausted (physically, mentally, and emotionally)

Today, I would like to share 3 things that will help you to work faithfully and effectively in your work.

  1. Your work is your ministry:

The other word for ministry is service. If God has given you a work it is not just for you to get your salary, it is also to serve others through your work. Your work is your service unto God, to yourself, and also to the people who crosses your way.

2. Do not work to be noticed by others:

One of the things most people gets trapped in is, they want others to see their work and appreciate them. There is nothing wrong in it, but working only for people to see, notice and get appreciated is a wrong motive.

Since we have said it is a God’s given ministry, therefore you need to work knowing the one who has called and chosen you for that work is seeing you. And since He is seeing you, you should work faithfully, wholeheartedly, and even enthusiastically.

3. Expect rewards from God:

As an employee expects a pay from a boss for the work done, there is nothing wrong in expecting God to bless you for the work you have been faithfully doing for His name sake.

As you expect, also ask God to bless you to a higher position in life. He takes great delight to see you blessed than you want to be blessed, because He is your Father and you are His beloved child.

I pray, may God give you grace to be grateful to Him, and may you grow to be faithful towards Him, as you do may God bless and honor you in Jesus might name. Amen

With much love and blessings,
