Hi dear Friend,
When you see the life of Jesus, it was power packed with healing, deliverance, blessings and good for everyone who came to Him.
The reason why Jesus lived such life was He is the Son of God, and He was anointed. Amen
Acts 10:38: God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Spirit and Power and He went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of devil because God was with Him.
The word Christ means “The Anointed One”. Jesus didn’t have anointing but He Himself is the anointing and in His earthly ministry He lived it to its fullness.
God is so gracious and very generous that everyone who believes in Him should walk in the same anointing as He did and even more than Him for His glory! He is not insecure, He is not stingy. Amen
Today I would like to share 3 practical keys for the anointing apart from your time with God.
1.Serve the anointed:
One of the greatest keys for the anointing is that you stay connected with the anointed, when you are connected, humble yourself to serve him/her in every way possible.
You are not serving a man, but God in a man and when you celebrate his anointing, it will rub on your life without your knowledge you will begin to live in that anointing.
You cannot experience the anointing that you bad mouth or abuse in someone!
If God has placed a man/woman of God in your life, how are you serving him/her?
2. Follow the anointed:
When God commissions you, He will give all the anointing needed to fulfill that task. But we should understand anointing is free but it’s not cheap, you should pay a price else you will not know its worth.
When you see the life of Elisha, he followed Elijah his master everywhere he went until he received the double portion of what Elijah had. Elijah went to Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho and Jordan; Elisha followed him because He was desperate of the anointing.
Jesus said, where your heart is there you will be. If you are desperate for the anointing, surely you will be with the anointed and follow him.
3.Ask and receive the anointing:
God’s anointed are not insecure people, they are not stingy people, and in fact they would love to see you grow to the greater heights than you did.
Elijah was not offended when Elisha asked for the double portion of what he had. He didn’t try to find weakness in Elisha’s life and gave him a lecture why he can’t have what he had.
Jesus said, WHATEVER you ask the Father in my name, you will have it. John 14:13
Matt 7:7: Ask and you will receive. The reason why we don’t have is, we haven’t asked for it!
Conclusion: Jesus is our ultimate Master, serve Him in every way with every gift and desire He has given you; follow Him every day, walk with Him wherever He walks; and ask Him, He will satisfy your hunger like no other person on the planet.
May God give you grace to serve, follow and ask your mentors/pastor/spiritual leaders for impartation. If you don’t have any, ask God to send an anointed person your way.
God bless you,
With much Love and prayers,
Jeevan & Leena.
