The reason most people end up in frustration and brokenness is because they got themselves to the point where they don’t want to be in (failed state).

As human, sometime we ignore God and God’s will and we try to achieve our self-centered goals with our own intellect and we end as losers.

There are so many people in the bible ended up their lives as Champions and at the same time there is equal number of people who ended their lives as losers.

The Bible says that God is good and what He does is good. Ps 119:68. Is God planning something good for others and planning something bad for you? No! Not at all. The word of God says that He shown no favoritism, meaning all are equal in His sight and He loved everyone equally.

Three main reasons why we end up in Failure is because;

1.     We do things that are contrary to God’s will:

This is the prime reason why we end up in failure, because we do things that are contrary to God will and to top it we ask God to bless in what we do.

Gen 11:3-8:

• The people thought to build city for themselves,
•  With its tower reaching to heavens,
• Make name for themselves,
• Be together

This was what the people were making. God came down and confused and scattered them. Why didn’t God bless them? Because they were doing something which was contrary to Him.

2.     Disobedience:

The next reason why we end up in failure is because of our Disobedience.

The bible has so much to talk about the people who obeyed God and were blessed abundantly and even their descendants enjoy their blessings. There are people who are called by God, chosen and anointed yet because of their disobedience faced great loss.

Num 14:40-45:

• The people of Israelites sinned against God
• They turned away from God
• God was not with them
• The enemy defeated them

Whenever you commit sin, remember you are separated from God. Though He loves you and cares for you, He cannot help you because Isa 59:2 says, that your sins as separated you from God so that He will not hear you nor help you.

Whenever you commit sin knowingly or unknowingly the first thing you should do as quick as possible is to ‘repent’. God is merciful gracious and loving God He will forgive you and He will be with you. When God walks with you to the battle field, you are already victories before you fight your enemy!

3.     Lack of Prayer:

 Someone said, if you can bow your knees before God in prayer, then situation and problems will bow its knees before you.

 The reason Jesus’ earthly ministry was so powerful because He was a man of prayer. The bible says; He prayed the whole night, early in the morning it was still dark Jesus went to solitary place to pray; when evening came He was alone praying.

He prayed in the morning, evening and Night, whenever He had time from His very busy schedule HE PRAYED!!!

Jesus’ disciples knew the secrete of Jesus’ ministry. They did not come to Him and asked Him to how to preach? How to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit? How to heal the sick?  how to cast the demons? But they came and asked Him ‘Teacher, teach us to pray’.

Someone said, a prayerful man is a powerful man and a prayer less man is powerless man.

 As you are reading this blog, I pray that God will give you grace to know His will and help you to do things that He likes and make you obedient to do His will in His way and make you a man/woman of prayer.
