Greetings to you in Jesus name,

On a fine Wednesday night as I was seeking God at around 2.30 am, I was sharing my heart with Him. I asked God why I was going through the season which was difficult for me. The Spirit of God began to teach me some of the things that blessed, comforted and encouraged me. I am very excited to share them with you. Hoping this will be a blessing to you too.

As a child of God you are in a narrow way. In a narrow way, you don’t have much space, much freedom, no alternatives; life would mostly be all about adjustments in every area of your life.

How did you get here?

We have chosen it:

The day you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you say NO to the world and the worldly things but you stick to God and the call He called you with. God gives you an opportunity to choose between a broad and a narrow way. The word of God says narrow way is the way that leads to eternal life; this is the way God wants us to choose.

Blessed in narrow way:

You might be going through a congested life but the world will see you as blessed. My family members think that we have much bank balance, people around us and wherever we go they see us as joyful, peaceful and living in luxury.

The people living outside the narrow way might have everything but they don’t have what we have. Though they try to be like us and have everything that we have they still fail to be blessed. The only reason we are blessed is “we are exactly where God wants us to be”.

Jesus being the Son of God had to go through the narrow way and He told His disciples that they too will go in the same way. Jesus said in John 16:32 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Though you are going through the narrow way, you have the Holy Spirit with you. You have the fruits of the Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be a blessing to the world. God will not let you down in this narrow way; He promised that He will be with you. You will say what Paul said, “My God will provide all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. If God is with you, you don’t have any lack. Then you will also say what the Psalmist said “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want. . . . . . . . . Ps 23: 1-6.

What to do now?

Ask God for much grace and His favor and to have compassion on you. Finally, give thanks to Him always!

Blessed in Christ,

Jeevan n Leena
