Hi dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

happy

This is a re-post which actually posted in 2012, i was thinking it will helpful for someone like you, probably a reminder.

God called us to enjoy this life, this is the only life we have here on earth, i want to encourage you to live it to the full; live in such a way that you leave a legacy of goodness and greatness for the generations to come.

what makes our life full of fun and joy is the blessings of God, the reason we don’t enjoy the blessings of God is because we don’t do things the way they are to be done! If you do things in the right way; you will get the right result!

before we go further, i want to put your hand on your heart and say “I am called to live a happy life”.  Amen

I will take you to the journey of the familiar passages in the Bible; John 2: 1-10: Jesus changes the water to wine.

This is one of the very familiar passages in the Bible and I want to share few things that I have learned from this passage, hoping it to be a blessing for you as well.

1.     Invite Jesus:

The reason we fail to enjoy the blessings of God is because we want to do things by ourselves. The first thing we ought to do is to INVITE Jesus into our lives, into our families, into our education, into our work place, into our ministry and into everything.

Having Jesus with you and you being with Him is already a blessing!

Though Jesus was invited to the wedding there was a lack! Inviting Him alone is not sufficient you have to involve Him.

2.     Involve Jesus:

Have you ever noticed that people fail to enjoy the blessings of God despite Jesus being with them? Have you ever been in the same situation? Well, I have been there. Despite having Jesus with us we don’t involve Him thinking that we can do things on our own. The wisest thing we could ever do in our troubles is to INVOLVE Jesus.

Mary, the mother of Jesus knew what to do when they ran out of wine.

Once Jesus and His disciples were traveling in a boat and suddenly there was a huge wind and a storm rose against the boat. The disciples were trying their best to tame it while Jesus was sleeping and when they failed to control it, they came to Jesus and said “Don’t you care we are dying” Jesus got up and rebuked the wind.

When you involve Jesus you will see a Miracle.

Let not Jesus your guest, but let Him be your friend. While involving they informed Jesus.

3.     Inform Jesus:

Some people think that there is no need to inform Jesus because He is sovereign and all knowing. Mary came to Jesus and said “They have no more wine”; she told Jesus the exact problem they were having. It is very important to tell Jesus the exact problem/situation you are going through.

The Bible even commands us to ask! Whoever asks shall receive. The reason you don’t have is because you don’t ask Him.

Telling Jesus your problem is also an act of faith.

4.     Obey Jesus:

The last but definitely not the least thing is to obey Jesus. Jesus told the servants to fill the barns with water and serve that water to the guests. Mary came to the servants and told them to do everything just as Jesus would advised them.

The servants had no clue of what Jesus was saying but they obeyed Him. Mary knew Jesus was not an ordinary boy and she knew Him better than anyone present there that He is a God and He can do anything.

The bible has a lot to say about obedience. If clearly observed there are many people recorded in the Bible who have received great blessings by just obeying God and at the same time equal number of people who have experienced a great loss by disobeying God.

If you can Invite, Involve, Inform and Obey Jesus, your life will not be the same. You will enjoy great blessings and great freedom.

I pray that God will give us grace to make Jesus our very best friend so that we can share our hearts with Him.

God Bless you,

Jeevan & Leena
