As a man and woman of God we all have a dream that our church should grow in number and in the likeness of God. We want to see our church grow not only in quality but also in the quantity.

Recently I met few pastors and while we were having a talk I asked them about their church. They all gave me similar thoughts about the church, they said, “Brother we are not bothered about the quantity, but we are inclined to train the people whom God sends”.

You too might have met some pastors giving these kinds of answers but if God sends hundreds or thousands of people will they not be much happier than teaching and training few people? Yes, they will be. The reason they stick to the people in the church and stay not much bothered about the church growth can probably be because they would have tried every possible means to see their church grow in number and failed. And so they defensively say that they want to work only on people who are coming in. In other words, they have given up on seeing their church grow.

Wherever God has placed your church be it in any village, town, and city or in any other area God desires and expects all His people to gather in the church and worship Him. Do not limit God. Though you have only 5-10 people now expect God to bring hundreds, thousands, the whole village, the whole town, the whole city to Christ through you.

Someone asked Dr. Paul Yonggicho about the secret of his church growth and he mentioned 3 things namely

  1. Prayer
  2. Prayer and
  3. Prayer

I believe with all of my heart that God answer prayers, Prayer is the Key! But I also want you to expect great miracles from God.

The world is in need of miracles. The world is tired of listening about religions. The early church grew because it was born in the midst of miracles.

What are the effects of miracles?

Here are few things what miracles will do;

  1. Miracles prove that Jesus is ALIVE.  Acts 4:10
  2. Miracles brought glory to God. Luke 18:35-43, Mark 2:12, Acts 4:21
  3. Miracles confirmed the word. Acts 8:6-8
  4. Miracles attracted great crowds. John 2:23, John 6:2, Acts 4:4, Acts 5: 12-16

As you read this, I Pray that God will create a hunger to see miracles in your everyday life.

Have wonderful days ahead,

God Bless you
