Rejection to Redirection

post

“No”….A very common word often used to express dissent, denial and refusal. Does that mean it is the end?

Thumbs down from God is never to put your desires or your hope down. It is rather an act of God to set you straight and back into His plan with greater strength and broader vision.

Let me just remind you of John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. a very famous verse known by all of us. How wonderful would it be if only we could pause and understand how much it really means? My question is why we should get disheartened when we do not get what we want. Doesn’t God know even before we ask?

For the bible says in Matthew 6:8.Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”
Not all that we want is in His plan of purpose for us. He is incredibly wise and knows exactly where we would end up holding on to our desires.  But the fact is most of us cannot stand the truth being told. We always want to see God approving of all our supplications. God exercises His power to discipline and guide us in the right direction but never ever to delude us. For it is written in Romans 8:28, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who] have been called according to his purpose.”

Allow me to remind you the life of Joseph in the bible. He was a person who loved God with all of his heart but had to go through the rough terrain to reach the place God had ordained for him. He was rejected by his own family and even sold out.No matter what life had in store for him, he had placed his trust in God. He was unjustly imprisoned. It can also be probably understood as a rejected prayer in our terms . Who would have thought that all this season of rejection was only to place him in the highest rank of Egypt. He was being prepared and redirected.

We are made merely to move according to the itinerary prepare by God. But we tend to drift away holding onto our desires. That’s exactly where we receive a rejection from God. It is used by Him to change or rather refocus the radar of our journey when we drift away from His plan. He is our Father; He is good and does only good. Psalm 119:68, “You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.”

He is mindful of us and constantly monitoring us. So, let me encourage you as you read this post that rejection is never an end but it is indeed a redirection. If you are in a similar situation then surrender yourself to Him wholly again. Begin to trust in Him again and to choose to do His will alone.

Remember God loves you and has better plans for your life than you have for yourself .

God bless you,

Jeevan n Leena.

Please take time to pray for Babitha. Thanks.
