Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Unless you know the purpose for which you have been created you will not live in it. There are so many people achieve so many things in life yet at the end of the day they are not satisfied, the reason being simple that they did not fulfill for what they have been created for.
The Bible says, we are not accident on earth but we are masterpiece of God’s creation. The Bible continues to say that God has predestined us even before the foundations of the earth was laid.
If you are a believer of Jesus Christ, and you are wondering why God choose you and what He wants from you than I believe this post will be a blessing you to in helping you to live a purposeful life.
There is a purpose why God choose you; come with we as we learn the reasons why God choose you,
1. God choose that we might be with Him:
God loves us so much that He wants to have fellowship with us. When God created first man ever Adam and placed him in the garden God had planted and the Bible says that God would walk in the garden to have fellowship with man.
The God who had fellowship with man is still the same, He even today want to have fellowship with the people whom He has created (Everyone in the world past, present and future are created by God).
The Bible says, when Jesus choose His disciples in the reason He choose was that “We might be with Him” Mark 3:14a. God want us to be with Him and know Him personally, see Him, and fellowship with Him. Being with Him should be our ultimate desire, every other desire and dream should flow from the fellowship we have with God.
2. God Choose us to be fruitful:
The Bible says that we did not choose Him but He chose us so that we might bear fruit. John 15:16. God wants us to be fruitful in the course of being with Him.
Jesus is the wine and we are branches, as long we are connected to Him, we will bear much fruit. If we are not in Him and if He is not in you, you will not bear good fruit. John 15:5
The world in which we are leaving is very complicated, people look good on the outside but inside they are like ferocious wolves. The only way you can know about that person is, how he acts under pressure. What kind of fruit he brings forth in tough and tempting times is really who he/she is.
A good tree brings forth good fruit and a bad tree bad fruit; good tree cannot bear bad fruit or the bad tree good fruit. Matt 7:17-18.
3. God us choose us to be blameless and holy:
You can deceive any person but you cannot deceive yourself. If you cheat someone you have a profit and someone cheats you he/she has profit but we would be fool if we cheat ourselves!
God has called us and chosen us to live a holy and blameless life before Him. Eph 1:4. You can act spiritual, prayerful, righteous, humble . . . . . before people around you but you cannot do that before God. He knows you inside out.
Psalmist said, where can I run from you? I cannot hide myself from you coz wherever I go you are there. The church should grow in the knowledge of knowing that the eyes of God are on us and there is no place on the face of the universe where we can hide ourselves from Him. After knowing we should grow in discipline ourselves to live a life that God has called us to live.
People might say that it’s ok; Coz for the world we are leaving in is a sinful world, and even if we sin its common, but we are not common because God has called us to live Holy and Blameless life before Him.
