Hi Friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

Today I would like to share 5 things that will help you to live a happy life. I have mentioned 5 if you have 6th please feel free to share with us.

Today we meet people who are disappointed and discouraged and trying hard to live a happy life but at the end of the day, they are where they started. Today as you read this post I pray God will heal and fix your life in Jesus name.

happy

 Here are the 5 tips:

1.       Forget your past :

One of the enemy we face in our lives today is the guilt of what happened in the past, it might be few years ago or it might be just 5 minute before. The truth is you cannot go back into your past to fix it.

If you know you did wrong, the first thing you have to do is repent and say sorry to God and forgive yourself and also forgive the person or people involved.

God will surely forgive you, but the challenge is will you forgive yourself? Don’t wait for people’s approval, whether they forgive you or no you humble yourself and say sorry, rest is left to them.

Look back into your past not regret but to learn from it so that you don’t continue the same thing and end up feeling the same thing. Your past was a lesson not your life forever!

2.       Love your present:

After forgetting your past, love you present. You cannot enjoy your present life if you are not free from your past. You might seem to be enjoying life when you are around with the people but the real test is when you are alone, do you still love your life?

Be thankful to God for you understood what your mistake and short comings were and where you were going wrong, there are so many people who are still lost and trying to figure out what went wrong and why they are the way they are.

You are God’s workmanship, and you are wonderfully made. Don’t look at your life the way world sees but try to look at your life the way God sees you. He knows what you need, what you think, what you are going through, what you feel. . . . In His time He will turn everything for your good.

Don’t question yourself of what is happening and why, because you don’t have answers for all of them.  Just receive whatever comes your way with thanksgiving to God coz He will make them work for your good.

God loves you the way you are, and you have no other option than to love yourself; there is no one(except God) who can love and care for you better than yourself , and speak well of you all the time.

3.       Give your best now:

There are people who regret at the old age (when their strength is gone) that they could have done so much but couldn’t do.

Every day is the gift from God. Each new day you have an opportunity to give best of everything you have like time, strength, wisdom, money  . . . . to live a life that you will be blessed and through you people around will be blessed. God hates laziness.

Our days are so limited on this earth, if you miss a day you cannot go back and work and give your best for that day again, it’s gone. Time is not waiting for anyone its moving fast, days months, years and decades are rolling faster.

Let’s take a break for a minute and think, what have you done and achieved?

For yourself? For your parents (family)? For your children? For God who gave you this beautiful life? For the people around you?

If you think you could have done much better, it’s not too late my friend. Come on make up your mind now to give your best! One day when you look back at yourselves, you will not regret!  You will be happy. When you stand before God on your day, He will say “well done good and faithful servant”!

4.       Learn to be content:

People who always compare their life with others can never be happy even though they are blessed by God. As long as you see people and how much they are blessed, you cannot see at yourself and what God has blessed you with.

Man’s desires are endless. For example: If you are earning Rs.50,000 per month you still want more, even if you are staying in 3 BHK apartment  that is small for you, if you have a car where you can drive with your family still you want a bigger one . . . . .then what and when will satisfy you?

Every time you complain, you miss the pleasure of what you have, instead be thankful to God for giving you a place to stay, food to eat and cloths to cover your body because there are so many thousands of people in the world who don’t have all this.

Things can never satisfy us! You are made in the image of God, and only He can satisfy you. We have a vacuum is us; we try to fill it with money, fame, pleasures, riches, properties . . . . Nothing can fill that vacuum is God. When you have God, you are happy and satisfied no matter what!

Crave for God every day, not things. If you seek God, you will also find everything you want in life. Jesus is the Blesser; when you have Him, you will not lack any blessing.

5.       Don’t try to please others:

The last of the five but not the least is stop pleasing people! Don’t run for people’s approval!

The people who call you good today, tomorrow when you don’t live and do things the way they wanted they will certify you as bad.

Everywhere people want to please others, students want to please teachers, teachers want to please dean; employees want to please employer, even in church people want to please pastor and pastor his mentor.

If everybody says you are wrong or certify you as so and so person, you will not be one. What God thinks about you matters. Only His testimony for you is valid!

Have you ever thought of what God thinks about you? People might judge you based on the out ward appearances and outward outcomes but God judges by the motives of your heart. You can fool anybody but you can’t fool Him. His eyes are always on you, you cannot hide from Him. Before any thought or desire conceived in your heart it’s already before Him.

If there is any person whom you should fear and try to please is God! Jesus lived life that was pleasing to God though the people thought He was an insane and had major disagreements, when God had to approve Jesus, He said, “This is my beloved in whom I am well pleased”.

If God had to tell something about you, what would it be . . . . . . . ?

As I conclude, I want to remind you to forget your past, love your present, give your best now, learn to be content with what you have and try to please God always.

Have a blessed and fruitful God centered life ahead.

Love you,

Jeevan n Leena
