Hi Dear friend,

Greetings to you and your family in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our God is the God of blessings; in fact He is the source of all blessings. The Bible says, every good and perfect gift comes from God alone.

disgrace

Sometimes God takes us through the rough roads, not because He is bad or upset with us but to teach us who He is and how much He loves us and also to show that He has always plans to prosper us and to see us blessed.

There are also times when God is silent, that’s the scary phase of our life. Imagine you are seeking God for some guidance, advice and blessing; instead of God respond He decides to wait back and see how we will react.

It’s like sometimes God leads us to the valley of dry bones, that’s where you see the power of God manifest to such degree that dryness with come to life to and that life will kill every living enemy that’s standing your way.

The Bible has a record of few good and godly couple who didn’t have children, let’s take a look at their life and see how God blessed them later with whom!

  1. Abraham and Sarah – Gen 18:11: Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was passed the age of child bearing.Imagine the situation of this couple, God promised that He will give them a son but their physical condition shouted, impossible! Years pass by, in the fullness of time God blessed them with Isaac who was the promised son and promised seed from whom nations will came out! Gen 21:1-7.

  1. Manoah and His wife – Jud 13:2: A certain man of Zorah named Manoah from the clan of Danites, had a wife who was sterile and remained childless.God opened her womb and blessed them with a son who was the Nazirite, Judge and deliverer. Samson was the world’s strongest man. Gen 13:24(a).

  1. Elkanah and Hannah – 1 Sam 1:6(a): The Lord had closed her (Sarah) womb. Later God remembered her and blessed her with a son and she named him Samuel. 1 Sam 1:20. Samuel was one of the greatest Prophet of Old Testament.

  1. Zechariah and Elizabeth – Luke 1:6-7: Both of them were upright in the sight of the Lord, observing all the Lord’s commands and regulations blamelessly, but they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren and both were well on in years. When the time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son. Luke 1: 57, they named him John. V: 60.

Jesus Himself testified about John saying, among those born of a woman there is no one greater than him.

The list doesn’t end there, you can add yours and be a living testimony of God to the generation.

No matter what kind of disgrace and barrenness you are going through, God who can remember all these people in the past is able to remember you and bless you too.

All these couple didn’t give birth to the ordinary babies but history makers.

If you feel that there is nothing happening in your life, in your family, in your marriage, in your studies, in your work place, in ministry. . . .  Remember, God is preparing for something very big and something great coming your way.

As you are reading this, I pray that God will give you grace to see beyond the natural and hope for the greater and the best from the Lord. God has not forgotten you. He will surprise you very soon with His best shot!

Greater the preparation, Greater the blessing!

God bless you.

With much love,

Jeevan n Leena
