HI dear friends,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I want to apologies for not being consistent with my blogs.
Today I would like to share few things about Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s day is one of the most special day we people look forward to, as if we are waiting for our festival. People plan ahead what they have to celebrate this day. Today I would like to share few things that you should take a note before you go commit to someone or something.
If you are already married, you can celebrate even beyond your limitsJ, you can pick up things that will help you to satisfy your spouse, but if you are not married or engaged yet this will be very useful information for you and it will help you to think of how you celebrate your day. Please read this with open heart and with teachable spirit.
Few things to remember on this valentine!
1. God’s Day: There are people who enjoy this day and equal number of people become the victims of discouragement, failure, rejection and loneliness. The reason being simple that they trusted someone more than their creator and the true lover of their soul – Jesus Christ.
People will disappoint you, betray you, reject you, insult you and misuse you, but God is waiting to give you unconditional love and satisfy you 100% with His best! Start your day with Jesus! Let Him lead and guide you and allow His will to be done in your life.
Let this day be a God-centered day!
2. Day of love: This is the day we want to give love and receive love from other person. But the problem is no one can give you all that you want, it’s not because he/she don’t want to but he/she don’t have all that to give you. Only God can give you beyond what you want, because the Bible says “He is Love”.
If you want to give love to your loved ones, you should draw love from God – The source of love. If God doesn’t give you, you cannot give it to other person. You cannot give what you don’t have. This will cause you to pursue God!
When God becomes the source of love in your life, your love is godly and God centered.
3. Day of Gifts: We want to show our love to the person whom we love by surprising them with the gifts, which is very good thing to express your love but everything that you give to person sometimes might not bring him/her true joy.
What does your loved one’s needs the most from you is not the materialist thing, but godly love which will never fail and godly respect that will celebrate him/her in every situation and circumstances and godly trust which never give up on him/her.
To have this godly love, godly respect and godly trust; you should have God. No other option!
4. Day of Protection: For most people this is the day of liberty. We can hang around with the person whom you love or like, go wherever you like, do whatever you want but in everything you should protect yourself from every ungodliness.
Remember that you don’t grieve God and bring shame to your parents. You might be tempted and you have desires to satisfy your flesh but Say NO to them. Sex out of marriage is not good! Though it might sound and look good and pleasing now, but it will hurt you today and destroys your future and ruin your walk with God.
5. Day to please God: God is greater and most important than your loved one. Try your best to satisfy Him today with everything that you say and do.
No one can love you and care for you more than Jesus Christ!
He is the greatest gift you can ever have.
The gifts He gives are eternal! The joy He gives you is eternal! The Blessings He gives you is eternal!
No one can understand you better than Him, run to Him with all your heart! Make God your valentine!
God Bless you!
Love you in Christ,
Jeevan & Leena
