Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

We all know that, God loves us no matter how sinful, bad, evil, corrupt, wicked and depraved we are and He continue to love us for eternity.

One thing that caught my attention in past few days is, how we take His love, mercies and grace for granted. (Something to ponder)

God is love and He will never ever change, He will continue to show love to us whether we understand it or not.

We only feel and understand that God loves us when everything is well and goes according to the way we want it to be, when things go wide of the mark, we doubt God and His love. The reason we doubt God’s love is because we haven’t known and understood Him.

Imagine you love someone crazily and even beyond your ability, but that person takes your love for granted just to fulfill his/her own selfish self-centered desire how would you feel? You will probably feel broken, hurt, upset and offended.

That’s what exactly we do with God, trust me probably God is desperately waiting on us to love Him.

God gave us two greatest commandment, the first is Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30.

The word love in this verse is ag-ap-ah’-o meaning unconditional love, it’s the love God loves us with and He expects us to love Him back with the same love.

You can love God with unconditional love; if you couldn’t, God wouldn’t have asked you for it.

The Bible has a record of people who loved unconditionally. If they can do, you too can!

5 things you will do if you love God unconditionally:

1. You will think of Him:

The Bible says, that God loves us so that He is mindful of us. He think of you day and night, though you might have forgotten Him but He hasn’t.

He thinks well about you, Bible says He has a plan to prosper us. He remembers we are weak and gives us grace and satisfies us with new mercies every day.

It’s time that you should be mindful of God, think about what’s the best you can give Him today. Be mindful of God!

 

2. You will dream about Him:

We all have dreams and desires, thank God for all of it. It is God who has given dreams to dream and ability to desire and Bible says, He fulfill all our desires that are according to His will.

To love God unconditionally you not only think about Him but also think what He likes and what He desires. Jesus should be our desire, Jesus should be our dream and Jesus should be our destiny.

Jesus lived His life on earth to die for us so that we might live with Him forever, and no one should perish, this is His dream and desire. He lived and died for us, can’t we do the same?

Yes we can, because His disciples did in the past. They gave up their dreams and made God’s dream as theirs. You can make Jesus as your dream and destiny. Make Jesus you #1.

 

3. You will honor Him:

After making Jesus your #1, it’s also important that we keep Him remind as #1 that itself is respecting, honoring and worshiping.

No matter what’s happening in life, no matter how things are around you because you love God unconditionally, you are not upset with Him.

You know God honors you every single day by being with you, listening to your prayers and answering them, protecting you and providing all that you need. Whenever you worship Him, He comes down and manifest Himself and never put you down.

Your life is not about you it’s about Him. Honor God in everything you do, let every breath praise Him 24/7. Let this be your life style.

 

4. You will serve Him:

Jesus said, I did not come to be served but to serve and give my life as a ransom for many.

Jesus being the Son of God came to serve you. If God can serve you, I think it’s not hard for us to serve Him. He being God served humans (The ones whom He created) it’s easy for us to serve God (one who is our Creator).

Because you love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. It’s also important that you will serve Him as your King and Lord. Now He owns you completely!

Live the life He has called you to live, give what He has commanded you to give and do things what HE has commanded you to do.

You don’t do it under compulsion, because you love God with ALL that you have serving Him will also become your routine!

 

5. You will Take risk for Him:

The Bible says, God demonstrated His love to us in this, while we were still sinners Jesus died for us.

He demonstrated His love by risking His life in our place by taking our punishment on the cross, those lashes, those nails, that spear, those insults and even condemned before Father so that we can take His place at the Father’s right hand.

His disciples in the past loved Him so much that risking their lives for His sake even to death and they thought it was a privilege and pleasure for them.

When you have decided to take up your cross to follow Him, there is no turning back. Picking up your cross every day is itself a risk.

In roman era, if a person picked up a cross and walked out of the town/city, he was not coming back again.

If you have decided to love God today with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and with all your strength; remember this be mindful of Him, Make Him your only dream and desire, Honor Him in everything you do, Serve Him wholeheartedly and live for Him. No Turning back!

I pray that God will give us grace and enable us by His Holy Spirit to love Him unconditionally, in Jesus name. Amen
