From few weeks I have been thinking how the enemy attacks us? The enemy is very strategic in his work, and I also think he has become a pro in attacking the people of God.
Today I would like to share on what the enemy will do before he attacks a child of God? The devil will not attack you without doing his homework well and that is to isolate you.
My topic for today is “YOU MIGHT BE ALONE BUT NOT LONELY”!
I want you to understand that you are deeply loved by God, no matter how you are and what you do! God’s love for us is not determined on our works.
The Bible says, God demonstrated His love towards us in this, while we were still sinners Jesus died for us. Rom 5:8.
He loved us when we were running away from Him, He loved us when our ways were against Him and His standards for us.
Now, we accepted Him as our Lord and Saviour, imagine His love for us His children now!
He loves us so much, that, He decides to be with us, knowing that we have a tendency to run away from Him and grieve Him and also abuse His grace. That’s His covenant for us!
We didn’t do anything that we deserve God’s presence with us always. Now, if we do anything that doesn’t please God, yet, that doesn’t change God’s decision, He will continue to be with us. Apostle Paul writes a letter to the church in Thessalonica, He says ‘Do not grieve Him’ 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
But, when you know you are loved by God and He is with you ALWAYS; when you lean of Him in everything, completely, He will give you power to live the life that He has called you to live. Blessed to be a blessing!
When you are going through something you don’t want to go through, the first thing that the enemy does is he creates doubt in your mind regarding the existence of God and His love for you.
I have come across so many people who said, ‘If God loves me, why is he not doing anything good in my life or family’? If God is alive/exists ‘why He is not answering my prayers?’ ‘If God is seeing me in pain, why is He so hard hearted, why is He not healing or doing a miracle?’
Dear friend, what you are going through might be real, but that doesn’t mean the absence of God!
When you give your ear to the enemy, he puts all these doubts in you; when you believe the devil, you restrict yourself from receiving the blessing that God has for you.
What should you do? Tell the devil, yes what I am going through is painful, whatever you have said is right but my God is with Him, I am His child, I am blessed. When you make such confession, you break the hold of the enemy over your life and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life that will bring glory to God and blessing to you.
The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus has come to give us life and that in abundance. John 10:10. The devil is not your friend, he might come with sweet, flattery and sound words, at the end he will leave you bankrupt in every area of your life.
The Bible says, Jesus said, I will be with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20, He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
God loves you, He is with you and He continues to be with you, just honor Him by putting your complete trust in Him and try to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
As you are reading, I pray that the Holy Spirit will make His presence real to you that you will know that you are deeply loved by Him and may He also give you grace to live your life that’s pleasing to God your Creator.
