Hello dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name.
From few days, there’s this one thing on my mind, ‘what it is to be blessed’? What do you think to be blessed?
For most people blessed is to have lot of money, luxurious house, expensive car, beautiful wife/handsome husband, children, good income, and whatever you want is just in your reach. All of this is good, but do you call it as a blessing?
Have you come across a person with all the above mentioned things and yet live miserable life? I have come across few. Then, I realize, being blessed is more than money, house, car, income…… I think being blessed is having God.
When you have God, you have everything. For, God is the source of all blessings.
Jesus said, come to me all who are labored and heavy laden and I will give you rest…. Matthew 11:28. Some people think they have come to Jesus and yet live a restless and confused life. It’s either you haven’t come to Jesus or He hasn’t given you rest.
Jesus can’t be a liar and you too are very sure that you have made Jesus the Lord and King of your life but you haven’t chose to live a life of rest.
Many people think that worries are common and it’s impossible for a normal person to not worry and reason about tomorrow.
Jesus said, that’s why I tell you not to worry about everyday life because God the Father in heaven knows all your needs, and He takes delight in taking good care of His children. For He is the best Father!!
Planning for tomorrow is time well spent, worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference.
Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps and schedules and trusting God for guidance. When done well, planning can reduce worries. Worries whereas consumed by fear and find difficult to trust God.
Here are the 4 things that worries about tomorrow does to you;
- Effect your health.
- Disrupt your productivity.
- Negative effect the way you treat people, and
- Reduces your ability to trust in God.
Jesus said, that pagans/unbelievers people who don’t know him worry about things.
As a child of God there’s one thing that we should do as Jesus suggested in Matthew 6:33 seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
Everything that we need for this life time has already being deposited into our accounts but when we seek God and follow Him, everything we need will begin to manifest in our life.
Therefore dear friend, keep all your worries aside and look at your Father in heaven. As long as your eyes are on the things of this world, you cannot see God; when you see God, you will see life eternal and abundant.
Welcome to a worry free life.
God bless you,
In His Service,
