Dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name.
First of all I want to take time to wish you a Happy New Year 2019. Thank you so much for taking time to read my blogs and I am grateful to God that these blog post have been a blessing to you.
Hope you had a great start to the New Year, you might be excited and working hard to stick to your resolutions.
Some people had a great entry into 2019, but already feel done, tired and want to give up, because they don’t see any hope for the next day; therefore they are already back to square one, fighting the same thing they fought last year, thinking the same thing they thought last year, doing same stuff they did last year….
Are you among them?
I told my church before we entered into 2019; that our faith should not be on the calendar, nor on a day, nor on a month, nor on the time, but on our Maker – Jesus Christ; who is the Lord of all the days and all the times.
Why has nothing changed in your life even after you entering into a New Year with prayers, hopes and promises of God? My answer is, until YOU change nothing changes!
If you be like you have been last year, trust me this year will also be like last year. If you want to see the difference in this year, it starts from you. CHANGE YOURSELF!
The only thing you need to change to see changes in your life and lifestyle is, your MIND. If you can change your mind you will change your life.
Romans 12:2: Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will know the will of God, which is good, pleasing and perfect.
The reason you don’t know God’s will is because you have not yet changed your mind. The will of God is good for you, pleasing to Him and perfect to you and the people around you. (You will be blessed to be a blessing).
One of the thing that stops you from changing is, hurts of the past and fear of the future.
Dear friend, until you make a deal with your ‘past’, you can never accept your ‘present’ that leads to your ‘future’.
Today I want to share few thoughts on 3 important dealings in life.
- Let it go.
You might have gone through hell in the past, you might have made countless mistakes and your life seemed to you as ruined, but you need to tell yourself that God has forgiven your all your past when you asked Him for forgiveness, therefore you need to forgive yourself and forgive others who wronged you. Live as if it didn’t happen!
- Believe.
Once you have done with the deal above now you need to believe that God has plans for you. Trust me in this, God loves you so much that He wants to give more than what you need. He takes great delight in fulfilling your desires but when He knows those desires hurt you later, He will protect you from those thing.
It might seem that God is not answering your prayers and He might look like He doesn’t care or even concerned about you, but He knows you so well that He wants to protect you. He is your Saviour!
- Position yourself.
Once you are done with both the deals, final deal is what you are doing now after letting go of your past and believing for the future this is very important.
I want to tell you a bitter truth that, you can never forget your past, whenever you are reminded of the past, you need to accept the fact of what happened and answer the past by saying I AM FORGIVEN, I AM NEW PERSON, I HAVE CHANGED, I AM NOT A SLAVE TO MY PAST, JESUS CHRIST MY LORD SET ME FREE, I HAVE A GREAT FUTURE, I AM BLESSED, I AM HAPPY IN THE LORD….
Answer your bitter past and unseen future with the Word of God.
Your life is in transition, you are not in your past nor in your future promise land, you are on your way (Process). This is a most beautiful and most dangerous zone when you are neither a slave to your past nor a master to your future.
The reason I say it is most beautiful because this is when God makes you, He prepares you and shows you what your future will be like. The reason I say its most dangerous is because this is when your mind wants to go back, your future looks just like a dream which will never come to pass, hopelessness grips you.
You cannot be a beautiful and dangerous at the same time, the kind of thoughts you entertain and the kind of word you listen, believe and obey is where your future will be.
Before I conclude, I want to encourage dear friend that you are created by God for greatness, don’t let your past or present define who you are and what you will achieve. Look up to God every day and all the time and draw strength from Him to face your present with Him.
I pray, may your future be more glorious than you have ever dreamt and desired, and May God bless you as you trust Him.
With much love and prayers,
Jeevan & Leena
