Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

We all started our year with excitements, new resolutions, and new promises from God and hoping in God for a new beginnings. I guess you religiously followed it for a month or two.

Months later I guess many have grown cold in their commitment with God and His promises, and with their personal lives too because of the corona virus (covid19).

I want to ask you, how is your heart before God during this pandemic? Are you still loyal to your resolutions? Are you still hoping in God to fulfil the promises He gave you?

Dear friend, there is a season you receive a promise from God, and there is a season where you live in it, and there is also a season of process and preparation.

The season of process and preparation can be your season of wilderness, where you don’t feel God like the way you used to, or hear His voice clearer as you used to; but this is the time where God will be closely watching on how you would respond to the situation.

The Israelites also received the promise from God that He will lead them into the land flowing with milk and honey (the promise land); but God didn’t tell them that it would take 40 years of preparation, and God will test them in the wilderness.

Whenever the Israelites ran into a situation which made them uncomfortable, they complained against God, didn’t trust Him enough to hold on to His word and completely believe that God who gave them a promise is able to fulfil it.

The Bible says all those who did not put their trust in God, and all those who grumbled against God did not enter nor saw the promise land, but died in the wilderness. Only Joshua and Caleb entered into the promised land, because they trusted God and served Him wholeheartedly in the wilderness.

The kind of spirit that you maintain in your season of wilderness determines the longevity of your life.

Lord Jesus Christ had to go through the wilderness, where He was tested and tempted but He did not fall to the lies of the enemy but endured it and was victorious. Jesus overcame all the lies of the enemy because He remembered the words of God the Father “You are my beloved Son, in You I Am well pleased”, and He fought the enemy by the Word of God.

As His disciple, you are called to walk in His footsteps, when tests and temptations come remember the promises He gave you, and remember the prophecies spoken over your life by the men and women of God, and hold on to them.

As you do, I declare and decree that you will not die in your wilderness, but come out your wilderness in the power of the Holy Spirit and with the favour of God to live the blessed life God has called you to live, in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen

May God bless you,

In His service,

Ps. Jeevan & Ps. Leena
