Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

I hope you and your family are doing well, healthy and growing in the grace and mercies of God. I pray may God continue to protect you and provide you all your need according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dear friend, I want to tell you today that you are in a continuous warfare against the devil and his evil forces. And I believe whatever is happening in your life, in your family, at workplace, and in the world is the result of the things that are happening in the spiritual realm.

Usually when you know that you are in war against the demonic forces it is possible to be crippled with fear and worries. But the Bible says, “Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power”. Ephesians 6:10 NLT.

It is impossible for you to grow stronger in the Lord when your relationship with Him is weaker. You can grow in your relationship by spending time with Him! How much time you are spending with Him, How long you can stay in His presence without getting distracted?

While you are growing stronger in your relationship with God, the bible also commands you to, “Put on all of GOD’S ARMOR so that you will be able to STAND firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 NLT.

The devil has strategies against you and he keeps changing his plots against you, trying his best to make you fall, and keep you in a fallen state. You as a child of God need to be vigilant and careful.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NLT. Believe me the devil have been successful in devouring many who belonged to the family of God.

What does the armor God consists of according to Ephesians 6?

1. Helmet of Salvation: Helmet protects your head. In order for you to prepare for your warfare you need to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

You cannot think like the world and expect God to help you win your battles. You need to think like God, because you are His son and you have the mind of Christ.

What are you thinking? Guard your thoughts and imaginations!

2. Shoes of the gospel of peace: When you wear a shoe, you are ready to go out to live your life. And it is important that you need to have a lifestyle of peace with God, with yourself, with your family, at your work place, and with the world around you.

Jesus said, blessed are the peace makers, for they will be called the sons of God. It is easy to call yourself son of God and do not have the nature of the Son (Lord Jesus Christ). Jesus is the Prince of peace!

Are you living a peaceful life? Are you a peace maker or peace breaker?

3. Breastplate of righteousness:  This protects the important part of the human body – heart and everything around. The bible says, Guard your heart above all else, for it is the well spring of life.

It is important that you guard your righteousness, you have been made righteous in Christ. Since you have been made righteous therefore you need to do right things leading a holy life.

Do you believe you have been made righteous? Are you living a righteous life?

4. Belt of truth: Belt is what hold things together and give a firm grip. The bible says Jesus is the Truth.

As a child of God you should be gripped with the sound doctrine of the Word of God. If you give your ears to the lies of the enemy and to everything you feel, you would follow every patterns and standards of the world.

Are you living your life based on the truth of God’s Word?

5. Shield of faith: Shield is meant to protect and defend yourself. It is the shield of faith.

It is impossible to please God without faith. When the enemy attacks you with doubts, fears and worries, let your faith be louder and visible.

Are you growing in your faith? What are you doing to see your faith grow?

6. Sword of the Spirit: Sword is given to you to attack the enemy. Remember it is the sword of the Spirit, not of the flesh or mind.

The Spirit of God will always manifest the power of God resulting in victories for the glory of God. God has given you the Spirit to be with you and in you to equip, empower, and use you. But you need to be willing to be led by Him. Remember the Spirit of God will always honor the Word of God.

Are you partnering with the Holy Spirit for the victory that God has already given to you in Lord Jesus?

Dear friend, may God give you grace to stay alert and equip you for the everyday battle against the unseen enemy, and may you also put on the full armor of God meaningfully and purposefully. As you do, may God give you victories upon victories in Jesus name, Amen.
