Hello dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name. Hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God, I pray may God continue to protect you and supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Jesus Christ our Lord.
One of the important things in the world is relatives and relationships.
Sadly there are people who identify as the relatives in the family only to them that are rich and influential, and some people will recognize, connect and relate to someone and realize they are a family only when you have achieved something great. Thankfully our God is not like some of our relatives!
It is important that we identify our family and stay connected to them and be a mutual blessing to one another.
It is one thing that you know and call someone as your relative, but are you in relationship with your relatives? It is easy to say that you are loved by God and you are the child of God, but the important thing is are you in relationship with your heavenly Father through His beloved Son and His precious Holy Spirit.
At one instance when Jesus was in a certain place His mother (Mary), and His brother and sisters came to see Him, because there was no room for them to enter into the house and see Him, they sent a word saying tell Him, that your mother, brother, and sisters are here to see you. Jesus replied, “whoever does the will of the God is my brother, sister, and mother. Mark 3:35
How sad it is that Mary who bore and gave Him birth, and His sibling who were born from same womb, and nursed at the same breast are outside while the outsiders are closer to Jesus!
Here we can learn another lesson, do not be satisfied just to be related to Jesus, make every effort to stay in relationship with Him in love and celebrate Him every day, and to linger in His presence to hear His voice, and to be led by Him through His Spirit.
How to build your relationship with God?
The first and foremost thing that you should do is know that God is the most important person in your life.
Secondly, honour Him by spending more time with Him in prayer, and meditating His word, and also by doing everything He has commanded you to do.
Thirdly, when challenges and troubles come do not give up on Him, but stay closely connected to Him through His Spirit then you will be strengthened to overcome every situation for the glory of God.
And lastly, share this precious loving and powerful God to the people around you by being His witness and by being His servant to serve them wholeheartedly.
As you commit to do these four things, the Spirit of God will lead you to do greater things.
Dear friend, I want to remind you that you are related to God the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord, stay connected to Him through His Word (Lord Jesus Christ) and through His precious Holy Spirit.
God created us to be in unbroken relationship with Him, this is our ultimate purpose; let’s give ourselves to the same, as we do I pray may God bless you and satisfy you with His choicest blessings in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen
