Hello dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name, I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray, may God continue to protect you from all sickness and disease, and from every attack of the enemy, and provide all your needs in Jesus name.
It is easy to express your love for God and your passion for the Kingdom of God with only your word, but it is challenging and seems very difficult when you have to live it all day – everyday.
There is a difference between a religious person and a spiritual person. A religious person has a set of rules and regulations to satisfy his obligations, but a spiritual person will be led by the Lord and will do everything to please Him.
The Bible says, when the Pharisees and the Jewish people saw that Jesus was eating food without washing his hands, they questioned Him and His integrity for the law.
After Jesus has replied to them, he quotes a words of prophet Isaiah saying “these people honour Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me”. Mark 7:6
The Pharisees did everything so that people would see their deeds and praise them. But the spiritual person will do everything to please the Master, while we are living a spiritual life it is possible for people to see the good works / religious works and praise the Father in heaven.
Dear friend, I want to ask you are you living to please the people around you or are you living to please the Lord God Almighty?
Sometimes when you are determined to please God, you might disappoint the people. It is obvious that you can either please God or man, not both.
“One of the thing that you can do to honour God with your lips and heart is by being led by the Holy Spirit and living a life that is surrendered to the Word of God”.
I pray, may God give you grace to live a life that is fully yielded to the Word and Spirit of God, and do things that God desires you to do, and as you do may God be pleased and be proud of you in Jesus might name. Amen
