Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray may God continue to protect you from all the plans and schemes of the enemy, and also provide you all that you need in Jesus name, Amen.

Everyone likes rewards, I have not come across a person who doesn’t like rewards. In fact we expect rewards whenever we have done anything deserving, isn’t it? And if we don’t get rewards it hurts and leads to discouragements, but if we do get rewards we feel happy and celebrate the occasion.

Dear friend, I want you to know today that God has rewards for us. When we obey what He has commanded us to do, and when we do whatever is pleasing and acceptable in His sight, we position ourselves to receive rewards from Him.

There are many things that the bible command us to do which will result in rewards. But I want to remind you of one verse from the gospel Mark 9:41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.

Who can receive a reward from the Lord?

ANYONE.

The bible doesn’t show favoritism. It could a male or female, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, believer or unbeliever, literally anyone can receive this reward from God.

What must you do to receive this reward from God?

1. Be generous:

Anyone who GIVES. Generally when given something they measure by what they have given, and how much they have given.

If someone gave you something, know that they have been thinking about you and they chose to show that they love you with whatever they could. Be grateful to God for such people.

Giving or to be generous is God’s nature. God so loved the world that He gave His Son, Jesus gave Himself for us on the cross for the sins we have committed and He also the precious Holy Spirit to the church.

2. Be wise:

You need to have the wisdom of God to know and understand who are sent by God to you, and who are not.

Give to the men and women of God who are sent by God to you.

Men and women of God who teach you the Word of God, who pray for you, and who are available for you when you need them, who correct and encourage you, and who are there to love you.

Recognize such people in your life and sow love, respect, time, money/wealth, and carry their vision.

After said that, you can give to the men and women of God who suddenly and accidentally cross your path, there is nothing wrong is sowing in their lives too, but again be wise.

What and how much you should give?

Even if you give a glass of water, you will not miss your reward.

It is good to check with God what to give and how much to give, because at the end of the day you belong to Him and you are accountable to Him, and it is also good to be led by Him rather than just your emotions and intellect.

After consulting God, it is good to talk and discuss with your spouse also. And when you both are at peace concerning something than you should proceed.

Dear friend, as you grow to be wise and generous; I pray, may God reward you richly with the heavens choicest blessing, and may the rewards of God be a greater blessing and satisfaction to you and to your family in Jesus name. Amen
