Hello dear friend,
Greeting to you in Jesus name.
I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray may God continue to protect you from all the plans and schemes of the enemy and also provide all your needs according to His glorious riches in Jesus name. Amen
Many Christians take Jesus Christ as the Saviour, but very few people see Jesus as their Lord and King.
When Jesus came into the Jerusalem for the last time, He came on the colt, people celebrated His arrival with a loud noise, singing, and celebration.
How do you celebrate a king?
- Usually people celebrate king with highest respect and honor,
- Obey him in everything even to the point of death,
- Consider king’s life and prestige above their own, and
- Depend on king for everything.
If you make Jesus as your Lord and King, you should love and respect Him to the highest honour, and be willing to obey Him all the days of your life, and trust in Him for everything in life.
In Mark 11:1-10, we learn few things from this passage, but I want to highlight two things as you apply them you will be blessed and be a greater blessing to the world around you.
- Jesus was in need:
The bible says, Jesus was in need of the colt to ride into the city.
Just like Jesus needed a colt to enter into Jerusalem, today He need people who can carry Him on earth to families, work places, market places, churches, and everywhere.
Are you willing to give yourself to Him?
2. Jesus on you will bring you honour:
The bible says when this colt walked into Jerusalem, this donkey was welcome with celebration. It was not because of the donkey but because of Whom the donkey carried.
When you carry Jesus on you, knowingly and unknowingly you will be loved, respected, and celebrated because of His glorious presence.
Dear friend, Jesus is in need of you today.
He is looking for people whose heart is devoted to Him, as you give yourself to Him, may He bless and honour you and use you for His name’s glory, in Jesus mighty name. Amen
