Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God, I pray may God continue to protect you and also provide all your needs, in Jesus name. Amen

We all feel privileged by God for the life and every blessings He gave us. But, there is a greater privilege that God has called us into which is bigger than life and every blessings we can think of in this world, continue to read as we discover the greatest privilege of all.

There is a classic parable recorded in the bible that reveals the greatest privilege God has given to everyone, some have recognized it and living in it, other are ignorant and haven’t tasted that blessing.

The parable of the evil farmers in the book of Mark 12:1-12: narrates a story of the King who had a land, He entrusted to the tenants to take care of it, use it, and give Him a part of produce – fare deal isn’t it?

At the time of the harvest the King sent some of His servants to the tenants to collect His share, but the tenants insulted and beat them, the King sent another set of servants but the result was the same; finally the King sent His Son thinking that the men would show respect to Him, but the tenants killed the Son.

What do you think the King will do to the servants? #think

Who are these characters in the above story?

God is the King

Jesus is the Son

Land is the world

Tenants are the people of the world

Servants are the prophets of God.

God is the King of the whole world. The bible says, the world and everything in it belongs to the Lord. Psalms 24:1 & 1 Corinthians 10:26

The bible also says that God planted the garden (Eden), and gave it to the man to take care of it and to work in it.

Everything we have today belongs to God be it family, health, job, money, talents/gifts, and grace to serve Him and His people. When we be faithful to God by being a good steward of the things He entrusted us with, and to give Him all the glory, is our gift back to Him.

God expects a return gifts for the gifts He gave us. Why? If we are faithful in the little He gave us, He wants to put us in charge of the much.

But when mankind fell short of God’s standard, He sent His prophet to restore the lost position of man back to God, but people neglected the words of the prophets and some prophets were insulted, mocked, and killed for their ministry.

Finally God sent His only Son, but we (mankind) insulted, mocked, and killed Him. What should God do?

The King in the above story who reflects God had an option;

  • To kill those who killed His Son
  • To file a legal case in the court, or
  • To forgive and let us go.

What did God do to us?

He did not kill us for killing His Son nor did He take a legal action to punish us, but forgave us and also ADOPTED us to be His children. God gave the position of His Son to us and placed us with Jesus at His right hand in the heaven. This is the greatest privilege!

Dear friend, I don’t know what you think about yourself or what names people have called you, but today I want you to know and understand that you have been forgiven of all your sins as you put your trust in Jesus and you have been welcomed into the family of God to be His children.

Since you are a child of God, now you can face any situation knowing that you are loved, forgiven, and accepted by God. And today He backs you up to see His glory manifest in you and through you.

I pray, may you grow to be a child of God, walking in the footsteps of our Father in heaven, and to know and do His will in Jesus might name. Amen

With much love and prayers,
