Hello dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name, I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray, may God protect you from all evil and danger and supply all your needs in Jesus name. Amen
Whenever someone asks me why do I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, the simplest answer I give is “since Jesus is alive, I made Him my Lord and Saviour”.
Every great, rich, wise, influential, and strong people who lived on earth died, never to rise again; but our Lord Jesus He came to this world, lived a righteous life, died as the atonement for the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, and rose from the dead, and now He (The Omnipresent) is at the right hand of the Father in glory.
Since He is alive He sees us, He talks to us, reaches out to help us, and blesses us with everything we need.
Our Lord Jesus when He was on earth He was 100% man and at the same time He was 100% divine. When you look at His life, the things that He taught and the things that He did, and the way He lived proves He is God.
What happened at Jesus’ resurrection?
- Women came to anoint Jesus’ body.
Anointing always sets apart people for the special God given tasks, these women brought spices to anoint Jesus’ body to set Him apart for the ministry after His resurrection.
It’s a sign of honour!
Right now, Jesus is at the right hand of the Father in glory and He is interceding for us all the time, as royal high priest.
- These women loved Jesus.
The bible says very early in the morning, while it was still dark these women came in search of the Jesus.
Why do you think, they came to Jesus?
They did not come to get healed, or for deliverance, or for any special prayer request to be answered, or for any miracle, not even for His blessings. They loved Jesus that they wanted to see Him.
Why do you go to Him?
- Stone was rolled away from the entrance of the tomb.
Stone here represents something that stands as a block between Jesus and these women, but before they reached the tomb, the stone was rolled off.
There might be stones between us and God; stones of pain, hurts, rejection, discouragements, frustration, failure, lack, and so on. When you determine in your mind to meet Jesus all these stones that tried to stop you from encountering His glory will be rolled off without your efforts.
Seeking God when there are no stones is easy, but pursuing Him with stones is challenges and this brings greater glory.
- They encountered angels.
Angels are real. They are here on the earth to help us and to bring glory to God.
But how can you experience angelic ministry?
This angelic realm is usually open when you are pursuing Jesus, they will help you to encounter His goodness and His glory. Jesus is the Lord of the angels, and when you seek Him you will meet angels.
Do you want to be ministered by angels?
- The proof of Jesus’ resurrection.
There are a group(s) of people that say, Jesus is not risen from the dead.
But the history says that Jesus rose from the dead, His tomb is still empty, and He also appeared to His disciples and ate with them and told them what to do and how.
Because Jesus is alive, you can go to Him in prayer and He hears your prayers, and because He sees you and the situation you are in therefore He will bless you with everything that is good and beneficial for you.
