Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God, I pray may God continue to protect you and provide you all your needs in Jesus name.

We are in the Christmas season, we love to give gifts to the loved ones and also receive from them. Gifts are one of the ways to express love and respect. And we give gifts based on our ability, and also based on the worth of other person.

The Bible says, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Dear friend, I want you to know that God give gifts, and He gives good gifts.

Every good thing you have in your life right now is the gift from God. Some of His gifts goes unnoticed therefore we are not grateful to God for it. Well, I will remind you few things that you can be thankful to God for and it will position you to receive many blessings from Him. Here are the few gifts;

• The gift of life
• The gift of parents
• The gift of siblings
• The gift of education
• The gift of health
• The gift of salvation
• The gift of enough food on your table
• The gift of roof over your head
• The gift of job
• The gift of income
• The gift of wife/husband (marriage)
• The gift of children
• The gift of spiritual covering (pastor/mentor)
• The gift of church (people to fellowship and pray and support)
• The gift of God’s grace to serve Him and His Body (the church)
• The gift of friends and relatives, and
• The gift of this day

Sometimes it is possible that you look at some of the things in the above list, and think it is your personal hard work and wisdom, it might possibly be, but I want to tell you if God doesn’t give you strength to work you can’t work it out.

God gives good gifts because, He is good. The psalmist said God is good and what He does is good. Psalms 119:68

Who is God good to?

Some religious people think that God is good to those who are good and religious, but God is good to everyone Psalms 145:9 because everyone is created by Him and He loves everyone, sadly some have known Him and His love therefore accepted Him to be His Father, and some has not.

Dear friend, I encourage you put your trust in God, your Creator. Be thankful to God for every gift He has given you and make your request known to Him. And keep declaring that God is good and His goodness will manifest in your life all the days of your life.

As you do, may the goodness of God manifest in every area of your life and may you be a blessing to everyone around you in Jesus mighty name. Amen
