Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope that you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray, may God continue to lead and guide you, and provide all your needs in Jesus name. Amen

In my last post I wrote on “falling in love with Jesus”, today I would like to help you understand how much you love God and how to grow in your love towards Him.

You can understand your love for God in two ways;

• By the amount of TIME you spend with God in prayer:

It is easy to say that you love God, but your love for God is measured by the time you spend with Him, and you can also examine if that time is a quality time, and if you are spending consistent time.

A husband can tell he loves, cares, and respects his wife, but if he fails to spend quality and consistent time with his wife than his love is just in words not in actions.

God says, these people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Matthew 15:8. Does it not sound like our love for God at times?

If you really love God you will not have space for any excuses but to put your love in action by spending time with God in prayer.

Though Daniel was the governor of the land yet he had time to pray to God thrice, and Jesus being the Son of God always had time to spend quality time with the Father.

• By OBEYING God:

The other proof of your love for God is displayed by the obedience you show to Him and His Word.

Jesus said, if you love Me, you will keep my commandments. John 14:15

It is easy to say that you love God through your words, but the question is “are you doing everything God has commanded you to do?”

Dear friend, we all love God, but is our love pleasing to the lover of our soul. The best thing we can do today and for the rest of our life is to ask God for His grace and receive the help of the Holy Spirit to grow in our love towards Him in Jesus’ name. Amen
