Hello dear friend,
Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope all is well with you, may God strengthen you and provide all your needs.
Today I have share some light on the things the Lord has laid on my heart for you this season.
I believe with all my heart that God wants you to prosper, it is God’s will.
Some people see prosperity as an ungodly thing and some others see prosperity as the godly thing, I don’t know where you stand.
The word prosperity for many people is only wealth, riches, assets, and luxury but the word prosperity for me is growth, fruitfulness, and blessed to be a blessing.
To start with I am reminded of the verse where Apostle John write a letter to his friend in the Lord and says, “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2.
I believe it is God’s will for you to prosper in the spirit, in soul, and in body.
Today I’ll share 4 things you should do to be prosperous in life;
- STAY CLOSE TO GOD:
When the Israelites came to Egypt, Joseph made them stay in the land of Goshen which was the best of the land.
The Bible says the Israelites grew so much that the local Egyptians were intimidated by them. Exodus 1: 8-10
When you stay in the place God desires you to be in and do things God has called you to do, you will surely prosper!
Where you stay determines what you will get. The commands us to remain in Jesus then you will be fruitful. John 15:5.
When you stay closer to God, you cannot help but manifest God in every area of your life.
2. STAND FIRM IN YOUR TESTS:
Generally people don’t like tests, but there is no promotion without tests.
God tests you not to kill or humiliate you, but to elevate you.
“Then the king caused Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego to prosper in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3:30
These three Hebrew boys had to go through test that could have costed him their life, but stood for the Lord and we know that God caused King Nebuchadnezzar to prosper them.
Are you going through a season of testing? It will only end in elevation.
3. TRUST YOUR PROPHET:
Do you have a prophet(s) over your life?
You need to believe in the prophet God has placed over your life. You need to take their word as an instruction from the Lord, and obey it.
Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed (prosper).” 2 Chronicles 20:20
Jehoshaphat and all his people were surrounded by enemies, and they had no power to face and overcome them; but when they received a prophetic word they got strengthened, comforted, and equipped to defeat their enemies.
If you have enemies, do not worry; just listen to your prophet and you will prosper.
4. BE GENEROUS:
The last point I want to share with you today to prosper is be generous.
Generosity is attractive, it attracts supernatural prosperity.
“The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.”
Proverbs 11:25
The above verse says, “the generous man will be prosperous” he/she will thrive in life, and overflowing with supernatural wealth and blessings.
Be generous in the Kingdom of God, be generous in the church, be generous towards the ministers of God, be generous to your family, be generous to the people associated with you, be generous to the world around you.
When you sows seeds of generosity, you will reap the harvest of the prosperous life.
I pray, may God give you grace to follow the above mentioned 4 principles, as you do may you have prosperous life in Jesus name. Amen
