Many times we get discouraged, frustrated and disappointed in life because we have been expecting God to move in our lives and perform miracles and wonders that only He can do but sometimes it doesn’t take place when we wanted it to or the time we expected the most.

Should we be angry on God?

Should we be angry on ourselves?

Should we get grumpy at everyone who comes our way?

What can we do?

1.       Wait:

The reason you are waiting on God because you know you can’t do it all by yourself, if you could do; you would never wait on God.

If it didn’t happen when you expected, what can you do? Nothing! Most people they go crazy, end up worried, discouraged and disappointed, all that is ok but will those things bring you back what you lost? It won’t!

The best thing you can do is, cling on to God because when you go away from Him things won’t fall in place but things gets worse and worse! When you are with Him, He can move in your life anytime because you are closer to Him.

The Bible says, He is a loving, compassionate and gracious God! When He wants to do miracle in your life and if you are not around Him you will miss it.

The Bible says they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)

The Bible says, by waiting on Him you will become stronger! That strength will help you to fly higher above the situations and circumstances and that strength will never go weak!

2.       Timing:

The Bible says that God has timing for everything. Sometimes we think it is the time to get what we want to get but God doesn’t think so. He knows better what we need and when?

Sometimes we hurry God, we say Lord, Now! But God on other hand He is waiting for that perfect time.

Do you know dear reader; the things we receive ahead of God’s timing will become a snare to us? God will give us something until He knows we can handle it!

For ex: Imagine I have a son, I would definitely love my son endlessly and everything I have would be his, will I give him my car keys when he is 5 years old? No, Never!!

Why? Don’t I love him? Doesn’t it belong to him? Why won’t I give him? The reason is he can’t handle it!

What would happen if I give him before his timing? He would start it, change the gear and stand on the accelerator (because his legs are short); how does he know to start, change the gears and accelerate? Probable he has seen me and he thinks he too can do it.

This is the same with us, we think we know how to handle it but God doesn’t think so. He knows you better. If God gives you what you want, you will harm yourself. God loves you so much that He is protecting you without giving you what you want.

The Bible says, in due time God will lift you up! In the fullness of His time, He will give you everything He promised He would. He is promise keeping God.

All you have to do now is, hold on to His promise and wait patiently in His presence for His perfect timing.

3.       Prepare:

What is God doing now in your life is, He is preparing you for the promise He had promised. You might have forgotten it, you might have thought it would never happen in my life, you might have given up on it, and you might have been tired waiting for it but DON’T GIVE UP! God is preparing you! He has not given up on you!

The Bible says, Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverb 22:6 ESV. Probably this is the command for the parents how to bring up their children. But do you know God is your heavenly Father, He is the one who made this command would He not follow what He commands earthly parents to do, while Him being our heavenly parent.

God never made anyone a blessing without training Him in advance.

David was anointed at the 16 but he sat on the throne at the age of 30;

14 years of preparation.

Joseph got a dream at the age of 17, but that dream came to pass at the age of 30;

13 years of preparation.

Abraham received the promise of God at the age of 75, but God blessed him with a son at the age of 100; 25 years of preparation.

Jesus Christ was born to die for the sins of whole humanity (past, present and future) but He fulfilled it at the age of 33.5 years. All His life was a preparation!

I have mentioned few of them; you know whom else God prepared. You too are the one like them. Many times you might think you are ready for it, but what does God think of you? If He thinks you are ready for it, I tell you within no-time He will set you where you actually belong. If you think He is not doing anything in your life (though He is) probably He is training you, strengthening you and preparing you.

Just surrender to Him and say, let your will be done! Keep doing this; I tell you dear friend, in the fullness of His time, overnight He will set you where you belong! Fix your life just right!

Keep pursuing the Lord with all your heart and keep giving thanks to Him because He is preparing you for something great you have ever imagined!

Keep loving Him,

In His service,

Jeevan n Leena.
