Hey dear friend,

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

It’s a joy and pleasure to write to you what the Lord has laid on my heart for now.

The other day we discussed about God being our very best encourager. Today I would love to introduce you another encourager.

There is no one who can understand you better than your Creator and the second person who can be your best encourager next to God is YOU.

Whenever you are down and discouraged you expect some to encourage you lift you up but to be honest most of the time the person you are waiting for might not be able to turn up every time; in that darkest and lonely and rejected of your situations try to pick yourself up, speak to yourself.

SPEAK TO YOURSELF

One of the way how people will encourage is by their words. When you are left alone, the best thing you can do is speak to yourself and get encouraged.

The Bible talks about the woman who was been subject to the issue of blood for 12 years, she spent much of the physicians instead of getting better she grew worse; probably she was left alone, she was rejected by her society, she was looked down by her own people. But one fine day, she came to know that Jesus was passing by, probably she heard about Jesus; now she said to herself “if only I can touch the tip of the garments of Jesus she would be made whole”. Matt 9:20-21

The bible continues to say that she pursued Jesus; she didn’t give up by seeing the crowd that was after Jesus, she however managed to get to Jesus and touch the hem of the garments of Jesus, the Bible says has she touched the garment of Jesus she was healed instantly.

The secrete of her healing was not only touching the garments of Jesus, I think the moment she spoke to herself that’s when her healing begun when she touched it she was completely and perfectly healed.

The Bible also talks about the prodigal son who spoke to Himself when he was away from his father’s house, when he lost all his friends, when he hit the road n ended up feeding pigs and eating the food of pigs, he said to Himself “I will go back to my father’s house” Luke 15:18.

The Bible says, when he was even at the far distance, the father recognized and ran to meet him and embraced and kissed him. The son opened his mouth and said “father, I am sorry”, the father was so happy that he ordered his servant to get a new robe for him, new footwear and brand new ring and celebrated his return.

You know what this is exactly how are Heavenly Father is when you make a decision to come back home, His presence will embrace you and His love will go out for you. When you open your mouth and say, “Father, I am sorry; please forgive me”. Our Heavenly Father will restore us of our righteousness and give the position we lost in Him and gave us all the authority we lost as His Child.

All this happened to the prodigal son is because, he knew who he was and where he is; you might know in which problem you are in, what situation and circumstances you are in. I want to encourage you my friend to know that your Father in heaven is looking for you to come back home. He wants to restore your life and give you everything you deserve as His child.

Take time to speak and encourage yourself and move on in the Lord.

As you speak the words of blessings, healings and deliverance over your life in faith expect God to do a miracle in your life.
