Greetings to you in Jesus name.

I am glad to introduce to you our friend Amit kulkarni, He is basically from Mumbai but now staying in Bangalore. Passionate and humble man of God. Earlier this year God blessed him with Mita. Hope this post will be a blessing to you.

I want to share with you something which i am learning myself and which i found hard living. I am not writing a person who has already arrived but as a person who is still in the process.

Once a mother went to wake her son for church one Sunday morning. When she knocked on his door, he said, “I’m not going!” “Why not?” asked his mother. “I’ll give you two good reasons,” he said. “One, they don’t like me. Two, I don’t like them.” His mother replied, “I’ll give you two good reasons why YOU WILL go to church. One, you’re 47 years old. Two, you’re the pastor!”

Can we relate to this?

How many times we miss the presence of God just because we feel tired, we feel as if are busy, we feel guilty, we feel God’s not answering. . . . .?

How many times do we skip Church just because someone in “CHURCH” doesn’t like us or the sermon is 2 hours long or we don’t like the color of the Church building. . . . . . ?

We can give lots excuses just to avoid being in the presence of God.

I’ve been struggling to go to my church which happens every Sunday Morning due to working in night shifts, but again even that’s an excuse! Its the choice i(we) make every single time when we miss His presence.

One of the biggest excuser in Bible is Moses

EX 3:11 – But Moses said to God, Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?

The excuses kept coming but God was determined. God could have allowed Moses to say no and picked someone else, but I believe He didn’t because He knew Moses needed this experience. Maybe to grow in his faith? Maybe to see the benefits of obedience? Maybe to experience the power of God? I’m not sure exactly why, but am confident God saw a bigger picture.

Every time we miss the presence of God and His fellowship we miss out on lot of things. As you are reading this, i request you to please take time to give God the place that He deserves. He should be your #1 priority, when He is enthroned on your life and over all your desires, everything you are looking for will come in place. All we should strive is to give Him the place He deserves then He will give us all we deserve as a children of God. Do your very best to live life pleasing to Him, nothing beats this. God has greater plans for our lives than we could ever have.

We are here for a reason. It is not an accident! God has things in store for us that we need to say yes to. Let’s not try to find and give reasons to God for not being in His presence or not going  to church but lets find a way to go to Him and to have fellowship with the church He gave us.

There is a reason why God is sending you to the church where He is sending, remember without you the body of Christ is not complete. we are meeting as a family once a week to worship, serve, learn n have fellowship with God and the family. Imagine when everyone in a family meets for a meal once a week and you are missing, how would your parents feel? God also feels the same!

But we miss out on many blessings just because we have an excuse ready for not being in the perfect will of God. I want to challenge you (and me) to get to the place where your love and reverence for God will be greater than our excuses.

As you are reading this post i pray that God will give us grace to love Him and to be in His presence and also to have fellowship with fellow believers.

God bless you.
