Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus’ name, I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray may God continue to protect you from all evil and danger, and also provide you with everything you need in Jesus’ name.

Recently we celebrated Good Friday. What a beautiful day remembering the finished work of Lord Jesus on the cross.

Many people think Jesus was brutally killed like a criminal and being God He couldn’t help Himself, therefore people question His deity.

Would you believe me if I tell you that Jesus offered Himself to die?

Jesus Himself said, ”No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” John‬ ‭10‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The book of Hebrews also says that He offered Himself, ”But when this priest (Lord Jesus) had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,“ Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Everyone who plotted against Jesus, and the people who killed Him might have thought they won the battle; but I say they were all playing a plan that Lord Jesus intended.

When the soldiers were searching for Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Himself came and made known to them.

Remember, Jesus willingly and intentionally gave Himself as a sacrifice for the sin of whole humanity.

His death was not a trap by people, He was not even forced by the Father; He knew His purpose and He fulfilled His purpose – perfectly!

”For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭45‬ ‭NIV‬‬

”He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.“ 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord Jesus lived 33+ years to die for the sins of the whole mankind (past, present, and future). He became the perfect and eternal sacrifice of all time.

As we celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection I want you to remember He is the Lord and King, yet He offered Himself.

You who believe and follow King Jesus be willing to offer yourself to God, to build His Kingdom and use everything He gave you to establish and expand His Kingdom.

You are created for a greater purpose!

I pray may you be willing and be intentional in doing the things He has called and created you to be, in Jesus name. Amen
