Greetings to you in Jesus name, I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God. I pray, may God continue to keep you and give you everything that you need in Jesus name. Amen
Who is Jesus?
To some He is a good teacher,
To some He is a great prophet,
To some He is the Son of God,
To some He is a religious leader,
To some He is a miracle worker, and
To many people He is God, He is the Saviour of the world.
There are many people throughout history who claimed to be god, but has those that claimed to be god actually lived like God?
Everyone knows that Jesus is God because of the kind of life He lived, but has everyone in the world accepted Jesus as God? NO! Why? The religious people of different faith usually question, did Jesus ever say He is God?
The high priest asked Jesus, are you the Son of the Blessed One? “I am” said Jesus. The high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we need any more witnesses”? You have heard the blasphemy. Mark 14:61-64
Some people think that Jesus is the Son of God, which means He is not God but just a Son. What does it mean to be the Son of God?
The Word I AM is highly esteemed by the Jews. When Moses asked God what is your name? , He said I AM in Exodus 3:14. I AM is the name of God.
In John’s gospel we see 7 I AM’s of Jesus Christ, making Himself equal with the Father.
The high priest understood that Jesus had just told him in His own words that He is God, the Jews couldn’t digest the fact that Jesus is the promised Messiah, therefore they condemned Him to be crucified.
Dear friend, just that you don’t understand or you don’t accept the fact that Jesus is God, it doesn’t change anything about Him, but if you do believe and accept Jesus is God (to be your God) then this faith in Him can lead you to a greater blessings in your life.
Do not be like the Jews and other religious people who missed to see Jesus as God because they were driven by the physical and material benefits, completely ignoring the spiritual and eternal blessings.
Based on the above passage of scriptures, we clearly understand that Jesus is God, this is the truth.
I pray, may God give you grace to know and understand Jesus as who He is, and may God also give you grace to receive Him as God, as you do may you experience great and supernatural blessing in every area of your life in Jesus name. Amen
