Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God.

Since this is the first post of 2023, I would like to wish you all a blessed and God centered New Year, may you continue to grow stronger and may God fulfil all your heart desires in Jesus name.

One of my prayer is that I desire to be in deeper intimate relationship with the Lord. Though you are already a good committed follower of Jesus Christ yet there is still a room for us to grow in our love towards our Master.

We have not reached a place of loving God 100% in who we are and what we have.

If you have to rate your love for God on a scale of 1-10, with 1 as very minimum and 10 as perfect flawless love. Where do you stand?

The Bible says, you have fallen from your first love, God is saying repent and return. Revelation 2:4-5

Has your love for God grown cold? Are you loving anything or anyone above God? It’s time to self-examine and to be committed to love God.

What does God expect from us?

He says, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5, Mark 12:30

God is demanding 100% love from our innermost being; from our mind, thoughts, emotions and desires; and also through our lifestyle and routine.

Do you think God will accept the love which you are giving Him that is not 100%? Think!

What are the signs that you are loving God?

When you are in love with God there are visible signs, here are two main things which you can look for;

  • Spending time with Him:

If you look at the people in relationship, they are constantly texting or on call, sharing every single thing without getting tired and listening without getting irritated.

How much time you are spending with God?

Don’t give Him lame excuses like, you don’t have time, or you are tired and postpone to next day to be with God.

If Jesus our Lord could find time to spend with the Father even when He was busy in His earthly assignment, we cannot give God any excuse.

We often see Jesus withdrawing Himself early in morning, and in the evening, and even all night to be with the Father. Mark 1:35, Luke 6:12

LOVE is spelled as TIME.

  • Obeying Him:

It is easy to say that you love God, but to put that love in action is a challenge.

And see the people in a healthy relationship that they try to please their partner/spouse with their words and actions.

When we look at Jesus’ life here on earth He lived a life that greatly pleased the Father, Jesus was completely led by the Spirit of God to do the Father’s will.

Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandments. John 14:15. If you love God you will obey Him every day, all day.

I pray, may God give you grace and help you through His precious Spirit to love God and to put that love in action, as you do may God be pleased with you and greatly bless you in Jesus mighty name. Amen

With much love and blessings,
