FATHER CELEBRATES YOU!

Hello dear friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name. I hope you are doing well, I pray may God continue to bless you and use you for His glory.

One for the greatest thing a person needs here on earth is LOVE (more than food, clothing, and shelter). It’s a special feeling to have someone love you very deeply and sacrificially without accepting anything in return.

If you have found that love here on earth, you are greatly blessed. But I want to introduce to you today someone who loves you more than anyone can ever love you and His name is Lord Jesus.

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off,

his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion,

he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.”

– Luke 15:20

In Luke 15:17-24: there is a story of a prodigal son, if you grew in church , you might have heard this story atleast once. For those that don’t know, I want to summarise the story;

A rich father had 2 sons, one day a younger son comes to the father and asks for the share of property that belongs to him. Somehow he takes all his share and goes to the far country and spends everything in wild living.

There was a famine in the land he was, since he ran out of everything he brought from the father’s house, he was hired to take care of pigs, he also ended up eating the pigs food.

One day he came to realised who he was, then he goes back to his father, and his father accepted him.

Today I want to share few things from this story, we are like that younger son;

1. Don’t run away from father:

We often times chose to go far from the father, and end up in unwanted situations.

Our desires, our decisions, and some of our dreams distract and distant us from our Heavenly Father.

Before you take big decisions, pause and ask if it is His will.

2. Don’t put yourself in difficult situations:

Some people blame God for the tough situations they are in, but you know very well you are in that situation because of your own selfish and worldly decisions.

Remember if you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.

Even if you went away from God and put yourself in mess, today CHOOSE to comeback to the Father. He still loves you.

3. Don’t let your situation become your identity:

Many people instead of fighting back or try to fix life, they accept their situation and become comfortable to adjust in their mess.

You should become uncomfortable to live in uncomfortable situations.

Don’t let your past define you, present flaws and failures identify you, and God given future plans disqualify you. God has not given up on you, you too shouldn’t.

4. Pick yourself up and return to God:

God can speak to you and send people to help you see beautiful future God has for you, but no one can decide for you. You have to decide for yourself, God also can’t decide for you (because He gave you free will).

If you pick yourself up, God can strengthen your feet; if you can begin to take steps back to the Father, He can make a way; if you can patiently walk, God can patiently wait until you reach Him.

5. Result: He celebrates you:

While the son was still a long way off the house, Father saw the boy and recognised him.

• No matter how dirty, stinking, broke you might be, your Father in heaven recognises you. No sin can hide you from His love.
• Unending and unconditional love of the Father didn’t let the boy freshen up to hug and kiss him.

Father accepted the son in his situation.

• Restored his position.

When the son confessed, Father not only accepted him but repositioned him to his son ship.

With or without sin you are His son, but when you make peace with Him, He will restore you to your original position in His Kingdom.

• Celebrations began before he reached home.

Father didn’t want for son to come home to make him king.

Then and there Father got his son’s clothes changed, given ring, and sandals. Son went as a king kid from the house, and returned like a king.

You came to this world like a son of God, and you will live like a son of God in heaven; But God wants you to live like a king here on earth too.

Therefore stay humble connected to the Father, and be faithful to the work He gave you, and govern well from the position He placed you.
