PROTECT YOURSELF!

Hello Dear Friend,

Greetings to you in Jesus name.

I hope you are doing well in the grace and mercies of God.

We are living in days when we watch everything we eat because we have been told that what we eat affects our overall health. 

Sometimes you give in to cheat meals, parties, festivals, and cravings; it’s hard sometimes to maintain the standard you have set, but you come back to the discipline you have set.

You do all that so that you can protect yourself from unnecessary calories, weight gain, sickness, and laziness.

Now, how much are you taking care of yourself beyond your body?

Is there anything beyond your body? Absolutely, there is!

If we can take care of the body that is made of dust and returns to dust, how much more should we take care of the things greater than our body?

1. HEART:

Proverbs 4:23: Guard your heart “above all else”, for it is the wellspring of life.

Heart here is not talking about the organ that pumps your blood, but it’s talking about your innermost being, where your desires and dreams are.

What are your dreams and desires in life?

What you dream & desire is what you pursue in life.

If you are not protected in your heart, then you might end up living a purposeless life.

2. MIND: 

Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Mind consists of your thoughts, consciousness, will, and emotions.

The world you are living in is surrounded and dominated by sin.

If your mind is not trained according to the Word of God, it will follow the patterns of the world.

If you think like the world, you will live like the world.

It is important to guard your mind.

Good news is when you are born again, you have the mind of Christ, therefore remain as born again 24/7/365/all your life.

3. TESTIMONY:

If people around you are not interested in your God, then you need to watch what kind of influence you are leaving on the people around you.

4. FAITH:

Job 19:25: I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

 One of the things you can easily lose if you are not deeply rooted is your faith.

The situation you are in today can create doubts about God’s love for you and your family.

In the Bible, there was a man named Job, who was the righteous, blameless, wealthiest, and blessed man; but he lost all that he had, yet nothing could steal his faith.

Therefore, God restored him with double blessings for all the troubles he went through.

Your faith will position you to receive supernatural and eternal blessings.

Remember, the enemy can steal your faith with one small doubt.

There are many things I want to share, but if you can work on the above-mentioned 4 things, you will live a blessed life in God’s sight and in men’s.

I pray that God may give you grace to protect yourself in Jesus’ name.
